Key Responsibilities
Content Creation and Management
Design and publish engaging social media posts tailored to different platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
Stay up-to-date with trending topics, hashtags, and cultural moments to ensure timely and relevant content.
Collaborate with the creative team to produce visuals, videos, and other multimedia assets.
Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and alignment with overall marketing strategies.
Community Engagement
Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a friendly, professional manner.
Foster online communities by interacting with followers and building relationships.
Monitor social media channels for brand mentions and engage with user-generated content.
Address customer concerns or escalate issues to the appropriate department.
Analytics and Strategy
Analyze performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, and click-through rates, to gauge success.
Provide weekly and monthly reports on social media performance with actionable insights.
Suggest improvements and new strategies to enhance social media reach and engagement.
Research competitors to identify industry best practices and potential opportunities.
Collaboration and Campaign Execution
Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to align social media efforts with company goals.
Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns for product launches, promotions, and special events.
Partner with influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify content and campaigns.
How Your Day Will Look
Morning
Kick off the day by reviewing social media metrics and engaging with overnight interactions.
Plan and schedule posts for the day, ensuring alignment with the content calendar.
Participate in a virtual stand-up meeting with the marketing team to discuss priorities.
Midday
Dive into content creation: write captions, design visuals, and edit short-form videos.
Research industry trends and competitor strategies to identify new opportunities.
Interact with followers by replying to comments and direct messages.
Afternoon
Analyze the performance of a recent campaign and draft a summary report for the team.
Brainstorm creative ideas for upcoming campaigns or holiday-themed posts.
Wrap up the day by updating the content calendar and preparing for the next day’s tasks.
Qualifications
Technical Skills
Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
Experience using social media management tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
Basic graphic design skills using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Ability to analyze data and draw insights using tools like Google Analytics or platform-specific analytics.
Soft Skills
